On your desktop, you will have to create a shortcut to the batch file.

The batch file should be run at the end of the day to see a detailed report on all deliveries done with Third-party services.

For the repost to work accurately the customers created will need to match the customers that are generated on the report.


So firstly download the batch file onto the server computer. (Batch file attached)

Once you have downloaded the batch file. Right-click on it and select run as administrator.



If the below appears, please click More info.



Then click on Run anyway.



It will then popup with an extract message make sure the destination folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\Alphapos then click Extract:



Once extracted, you will need to go to the file location:

This PC > Windows (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Alphapos > 3rdPartyDelExport


Then right-click on the 3rdPartyDelExport_V5 folder, then select Send to then Desktop (Create shortcut)



On your desktop you will have a shortcut to the folder to make it easier for you to access:

Open the folder:

 


Do not run the bat file as administrator, simply double click the bat file to run.




Once the file has finished running it will create a CSV. File in the following folder location:


 

 

 

This PC \ Windows (C:) \ Program Files (x86) \ Alphapos \ 3rdPartyDeliveryExport \ Exports

 

The CSV. File can be opened in excel. 

If excel is not on the PC, it would be nice to install it or install OpenOffice or Libre Office which is free. 

It is NB to note that the export utility is hardwired to only lookup orders where the customer is exactly one of these and only using the First name field in Aura, not the surname.

 

Once the file has been opened it will look as per below:

 

 

 

To make the excel sheet more readable please use the function Text to columns

 

  • Select the column “A”
  • Click on Data
  • Click on Text to Columns

 

 

Once you have clicked on Text to Columns you will need to do the following:

 

Step 1 of 3:

Select Delimited then click Next.

 

 

Step 2 of 3:

Select the tick box next to Comma then click Next.

 

 

Step 3 of 3:

Select the column data format as General then click Next.

 

 

Once Finished the report will look as follows:
